Best Book in a Long Time,

I have read this book before but since then I have visited the Little Big Horn Battlefield and the book helps to visualize it. (The movie does that some too if you are considering that.) Taken altogether, a great experience. Best book I have read in a long time. The paperback version does not have the old west map where all the events take place so I recommend paying a little more and getting the hardback version of this book. Also I suggest having a dictionary handy as this author is known for working into his writing words that are not commonly used day to day, but their use is precise and correct. That is just one of the several contradictions you will experience reading this story as told by an illiterate old man.
