Jessica Simpson never fails to amaze me with her cute fashion sense and passionate vocals. "A Little Bit," though snubbed by critics and all but her true fans, was the crucial breaking point of Jess's career, but sadly she released this when "Hot Like Fire" would have made her an instant success.

So as she faded into the distance, I listened to the song time after time and couldn't understand why it went so sadly unappreciated. You have to give credit where it's worth. It's pop music, meant to capture happiness and love; fun summery stuff that gets you out of your seat. And in a world where bands like B2K and singers like Paulina Rubio can get so far on songs about nothing by stripping down to undergarments on television, Jessica is left behind with a solid voice, solid morals and above-par songs.

The single is bubbly and cheerful and says that "a little bit" more is required of a relationship to keep it running. Nothing ground-breaking, but the video was good and the vocals are fantastic. Also included is the song "Irresistible," which seems to be the highlight of her career thus far.

It's more than worth picking up and don't forget, the new Jessica Simpson remix album is out July 2 so GO GET IT!!

the second offer from jess's second album, "a little bit" just caught me with its catchy dancy R&B arrangement. it's better than her first single with simple lyric about what a girl actually want is just a little bit of this and that, but it's the rhythm that make u wanna dance with her! may be she doesn't dance as energetic as brit, as popular as brit, as sexy as brit, but if u want me to choose, i would rather listen to jess singing rather than brit, sorry brit, u'r just not my cup of tea. if we can just give a little bit of time to jess, she'll surprise you! come on, just give a little bit of trust in her!

This is her best single of all! Considering I don't generally like this type of music very much, I guess I could say this is a very good song. I just find it has a very catchy tune compared to many other pop songs. But this is still not the kind of song I would normally go out of my way to listen to!
