This was one of the best cassette tapes I have ever purchased that someone borrowed and never returned. I have been searching for it since 1987! When girlfriend "MELBA" holds that note on "FALLING" I get CHILLS!! No human should be able to hold a note that long. "I'M IN LOVE" with "KASHIF" it is just "SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL" - "A LITTLE BIT MORE" with "Mr. FREDDIE Jackson" takes you back in time wanting (A little bit more!) OKA-AY!. I LOVE THIS TRACK - PLEASE CONTACT ME AS SOON AS IT IS RE-STOCKED AND I WILL PURCHASE IT IMMEDIATELY!!!!

Since the day in 1980 while still in college, i sat in the front row and listened to Melba sing "LEAN ON ME" - the goosebumps have never subsided. When she ended the song, the entire audience sat in total disbelief -- mesmerized by her unbelievable talent - unable to applaud. You could literally hear a pin drop. Her soulful ability, tone, pitch, pureness, and range is unmatched by anyone. She can blow every singer today out of the water without blinking an eye. This album was stolen many many years ago and I have been searching long and hard for this recording. Words cannot describe my excitement. Staying in line with "A Customer's" review, no human should be able to, not only hold a note like that, but to sing like that!! Giving 5 stars doesn't do this CD any justice. She deserves 100 stars.

I bought this item because of Loves comim' at ya (Instrumental). It is a shame to rate Melba Moore with 1 star. But be careful! You might be buying aplles and taking bananas!! If you look for a Melba Moore standard version of the songs, this is a great choice. But don't buy for the instrumental version of Loves comin' at ya.
