4.0 out of 5 stars Useful and Fun
The Little Bit Naughty Book of Sex Toys is a book which is apart of the "Little Bit Naughty Book Of..." series. It's a tiny, hardcover book that is full-color on the inside. It has 95 pages, and about 1/3 of those pages are full-color pages of couples sensually posing with sex toys. This is not a long book, and it only takes me about a half-hour to read it completely...

Not that I expected a comprenhensive guide, but this little book has been a real dissapointment. You might give it a try if you have absolutely no clue about sex toys, otherwise check other alternatives. By the way, for the Brits, Ann Summers "Guide to Sex Toys" is exactly the same book, same pictures and same texts as this one with a different cover, so if you already...

This is not a long book, and it only takes me about a half-hour to read it completely through, but it does contain a lot of great information.

I wouldn't expect this book to be comprehensive. It isn't. It's a pretty short book that will explain all of the different types of sex toys out there. It touches on different toys and what they're used for as well as material types. You'll learn the basics of what sex toys are out there. However, the book does not provide any sort of specific recommendations for specific toys to buy. The pictures usually include Ann Summers pictures of the toys.

The book includes some suggestions for use as well. The book includes information about sex toys, lubricants, and kink toys too. For each one, there's a tip on how to use the toy most effectively, a sexy way to use the toy by yourself, and a sexy way to use the toy with your partner. Along with this, safety issues are covered such as safewords or lubricant compatibility.

The book is really easy to read. It's fun to read and it doesn't take a lot of time to read either. If you haven't had any sort of introduction to adult toys, it will introduce you well. It won't give you specific toy recommendations, and if you know the basics of adult toys, it's not going to be that useful, but for a cute little book to read to get suggestions on how to use toys with yourself and your partner, it's a useful book.
