4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Read, April 7, 2008
This review is from: A Little Bit of Sin (Paperback)
In this novel we are introduce to Sinatra aka Sin. She is the mother of three and a loving and supporting wife to Tyrell. She runs her own salon and makes a good bit of money. But when she finds something that may suggest that her husband is cheating she loses her mind for a split second. Not sure how to confront her husband. She puts all her energy into her kids and work until a man from her past name Nino, a street thug comes back into her life. Her life begins to spin out of control and she starts making all the wrong decisions. With secrets and lies all in the mix. Will Sinatra go back to the past and be with Nino or will she work it out with her husband Tyrell?

I really think that Nikki did a good job with this novel. Although the beginning started off slow, it picks up and she give us a novel that really reflects on things that are happening in the world every day with cheating, lies, secrets that will either make a relationship or break or break a relationship.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read!! Great Book!!, May 8, 2008
This review is from: A Little Bit of Sin (Paperback)
"Sinatra Graham had a good life --- she was a wife, mother, and businesswoman. She assured that her children made it to their school activities and ran her beauty salon. She and her husband Tyrelle had a wonderful life and marriage and had done well ... She and her husband Tyrelle had a wonderful life and marriage and had done well enough to partially renovate their home. All was good in the neighborhood until Sinatra discovered her husband's infidelity. Angered by her husband's cheating, seeks comfort in the arms of Nino, her old flame from back in the day and father of her first child. Sinatra trys to deal with the demons in her broken relationship and sadly watches her cousin Roz go through bad relationships. All of this drama causes her to examine her marriage a little closer and try to decide what to do next. Sinatra soon learns that she is pregnant but is unsure if the father is her husband Tyrelle or Nino. This unplanned pregnancy is overwhelming for her and gives her life new meaning and direction. Sinatra learns forgiveness and gains new statue as a woman.

I really enjoyed this book. You never know what unexpected and turns your life can suddenly make. One minute your life is all good, and then the next minute the rug can be pulled from under you and you feel like you've been hit in the gut.
