My kids and I still recite the little rhyme from this book, though we read it in the library over a year ago. I had forgotten the title and author and wanted to find the book again, so thank you, Amazon: I typed in "Tip, tip, tippy, tippy went her little mousie toes," and here it is. A delightful read and the pictures are priceless.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter l;oves this book. She recites parts of the book frequently. Great read for children!!

She was a tiny little mouse dressed in blue jumper with white polka dots. She crept in the house quietly and those little red shoes probably didn't make a sound. She crept up into the china bowl and checked out an apple. Little Bitty Mousie licked the butter, nibbled a carrot, climbed on the dirty dishes and checked out an eggshell.

"Tip-tip tippy tippy
went her little mousie toes.
Sniff-sniff sniffy sniffy
Went her little mousie nose."

The whole house was an alphabet waiting for her to discover. There were fishes, garbage, the letter "H" from the birthday cake and then there was the icing. YUM! Jelly is tasty, ketchup is red and lipstick is fun to put on. Everyone was fast asleep and the Little Bitty Mousie had the whole house to herself!

This is a charming little rhyming ABC book that young children will love to explore and learn their alphabet from. The art work is adorable, to say the least, and the adventuresome little mouse will give the giggles to the little one turning the pages of this book. Little Bitty Mousie will be a book that will be requested at bedtime time and time again!

We first checked this out from the library and decided it was so cute and sweet that we just had to have it.

Wonderful children's book that also helps reinforce the alphabet.
