People have tried to put together a book similar to this in the past. They were so bad I don't even remember the books' names,

Loved it! Are you new to doing business online? Are you maybe already online, but you have outsourced much of your online presence and work there to others, and now you want to get more involved and maybe do it yourself? Well look no further for that introductory book that will provide introductory blurbs on all kinds of topics you will need to learn about. Each blurb is well written and informative AND provides links to further information or good resources for you to use. My recommendation is not to use the recommended resources as a complete list. Instead, use the list to give you ideas to search out more similar sites and resources so you can become an expert on the topic yourself. There are 78 chapters/topics covered in this wonderful little book. My favorites were as follows: 2. Article marketing 7. Blogs 22. Domain names 25. eBooks 27. Email marketing 28. eZines/eLetters 30. File hosting 35. Graphics 41. Link directories/portals 44. Membership site software 45. Merchant accounts 52. Payment gateways & payment solutions 53. PDF resources 66. Shopping cart software/service 68. Social media marketing 74. Viral marketing 75. Web design resources 76. Web hosting services But I am sure that once you get involved heavy reading the above 18 chapters I have cited you will dig into the book even deeper and be happy doing so. 5 stars! PS. Amazon provides the free Search Inside option for this book. There you can see the Table of Contents and all 78 topics covered.

I was able to browse through this resource in a few hours, writing down the websites that pertained to me. Since everything is categorized in groups of related sites (from A to Z), browsing was a breeze. Recommended for anyone conducting business on the Internet.

Not a single resource in this book is unique or unknown to most people. A lot of the tips are already outdated, like emailing Amazon to get instructions on getting your ebook listed. This is really just a list of links with a bit of text in between.
Having said that, if you're not "in the know" then it's always nice to have the links in an organized fashion. While I've had a lot of these in my book marks for while, I know of friends who would find this book a benefit for as long as it takes them to turn the list into a bookmark list. Just so everyone understands, I appreciate the author taking the time to assemble the links, but there are hardly "insider" resources.

Saves hours of Google research by providing links to online sources and resources.
Not the typical affiliate links, but direct to the vendor or resource links. I am using it for several of my Websites: * eBook Profit Spiral * Language Study Lab * Web 2.0 Copywriting Course * Sitebuilder Blog The amount of time that this resource can save you in your development of your online business is phenomenal.

This little book is packed with great references for anyone starting an online business, or looking to expand your websites marketing capabilities. Its straight forward, line item approach with just the right amount of guidance under each subject truly makes it a "black book" worthy of space on the desk.

Short and to the point, a valuable resource for internet technology/tools all in one place (too bad it is often overlooked). May not be as useful for someone who has been in business for a long time and already knows a lot about the internet and tools available. Another must have book for beginner entrepreneurs is Internet Riches by Scott Fox which gives you the "big picture" as well as practical details without the hype.I highly recommend any beginner entrepreneur looking for quality books to check out reviews by Jeff Lippincott "JLIPPIN".

I am in the process of taking my online business to the next stage and I have bought several books to help with the process. I found this book to be an excellant source of information that I will surely refer to over and over again.
The book is laid out with the various topics in alphabetical order. You can see a list of the topics by "Searching Inside the Book" and looking at the Table of Contents on Amazon. Each topic gives a brief overview of the subject and then a list of websites that can be used to get further information, training or services. Although I have already designed my website and have it hosted, I found that this type of reference book is worth its weight in gold. Many of the acronyms that had baffled me were explained in the first topic (CPM CPA CPC CPS and RSS to name a few) I read the book from cover to cover and then went back and started looking up some of the various urls listed. The author even has a website with a special section for owners of the book. All the resources that are listed in the book, as well as some free downloads, are available to access from the site. With this, you can be sure that the information is kept up to date in the ever changing world of the internet. Yes, I could have discovered all of this information myself, and was glad to find that many things I already use are listed, but the amount of time it would have taken me to find these, research them and bookmark them is worth the price of this book many times over. The author has no hidden agendas and does not promote or sell any products or the sites that he lists. He simply provides information that will save you tons of time and give you the information you need and some that you may not know that you need.

Paul Galloway has put together an amazing book full of resources for anyone interested in using the internet for business. This book contains the URLs for almost everything you need online, including quite a few little gems that I was not aware of (and I've been building web sites since 1994).
The only thing I didn't find was a link for what to do once you make all that money. For that I would recommend The Art of Passing the Buck, Vol I; Secrets of Wills and Trusts Revealed.

This "book" is nothing more but a collection of links
Chaotical and dissapointing, not explaining the benefits. This should be free ebook instead, because on a search with google, you find much better containt and links |
