5.0 out of 5 stars Lost No More, March 10, 2007

Johnny Wise, the want-to-be-evangelist returns to finish telling her story. She has again had to put up with rape, murder, name calling and a loss of her money. Johnny still finds a way to stay on top and remain ahead of those who try to get over on her. Although, I hated to see an end to Napolean Bentley as I do believe he cared for Johnny by knowingly putting his life on the line with the Bosses.

As Johnny has reached the age of sixty-nine, she lets us know through the author that she still looks good, doing well and still WISE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keith's done it again, March 8, 2007
This book is the end to one of the Best Trilogoys I've ever read!! Keith writing is absolutley wonderful!. He really took his time to perfect alot with this story and I for one appreciate all his hard work! Johnnie did lose a bit of the spunk we fell in love with in the first two books! It's worth every bit of the read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Johnnie Wise Is Back Again!, February 1, 2007
"Move On" were the last words that Johnnie could remember Lucas saying as she prepared to deal with life without him. As Johnnie deals with her heartache, will her past threaten the freedom that she has taken for granted? Can Johnnie stop the domino effect before it's too late?

Napoleon knows that if his "crew" catches a hint that he is in love with the beautiful negress, he could be killed. Will Napoleon finally get his hands around his prize possession?

Ethel Beauregard was humiliated on Thanksgiving Day but will not be humiliated again by the negro girl, Johnnie Wise, who claims to be a Beauregard. Since that tragic day, Ethel has had to live with the deaths of her family members and make sure that Johnnie does not get a dime of the Beauregard fortune. What heights will Ethel go in order to keep her good name and money colored free?

Keith Lee Johnson revisits the life of Johnnie Wise and though at times I felt it was rushed, you still cannot help but laugh, cry and feel triumphant at the role that Johnnie plays in a mostly all white cast. I will admit that LBGL was the best out of the series, but LBGL3 is a great contender.

4.0 out of 5 stars And This Too Shall Pass, January 30, 2007
The memorable men and women of 1950s New Orleans are back in Keith Lee Johnson's daring novel of greed and dangerous choices. Savvy Johnnie Wise returns. Along with her, the aristocratic Beuregards, the seedy underworld of New Orleans and a racially divided community. Johnnie made her point by exposing her family lineage, but at what cost? Fueled by hatred, ignorance and prejudices, the town is in an uproar and Johnnie seems to be the perfect escape goat. A white person is dead. A black person must pay.

Little Black Girl Lost 3 is a clever story of murder, passion, greed, and deadly ambition. This intelligent and interesting book does not disappoint. While I hate to see this series come to an end, I am happy to have many of my questions answered. Johnson uses his skill as a talented storyteller to deliver just the right touch of intrigue and drama.

Now for my public service announcement...if you haven't read ALL of Keith's books, you are doing yourself a disservice. The brother is truly talented. If you've only read the Little Black Girl Lost books and enjoyed them, try Sugar & Spice, PRETENSES, Fate's Redemption and The Honeymoon Is Over. Those books feature Johnnie Wise's nephews all grown up. Looking forward to Hell Has No Fury.

This review is from: Little Black Girl Lost 3 (v. 3) (Paperback)
I thought that this book was better than book 2! I think that it had more drama in this book and it kept you on your toes with the trial going on and everything. I'm glad that this book told you how it all started and came down in the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Awesome!!!, December 17, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have now read all 3 in this series and the last one just left me stunned and amazed...Keith used a time when African Americans were anything but the child of God and turned that into a masterpiece...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Perfect Ending To A Wonderful Threequil, July 19, 2007

(REAL NAME)
This novel is a must read. Warning...Reading the first two novels is a must to gather into the lives of Johnnie and Lucas. You will be glued to the pages with anticipation as this threequil unfolds into a dramatic ending. Keith Lee Johnson has definitely won me over as a reader by giving us, as readers, what we desire...a perfect ending. Grab a comfortable spot, because you will not be able to move once you begin reading. Great job Mr. Johnson, I am now a true fan of yours!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Finish, May 17, 2007
This books was great, just like the last two. I was a little surprised with some of the twists and turns but never disappointed. Mr. Johnson did a great job in tying up Johnnie's story, that young lady really "lived" her life to the fullest. I loved all three books and have recommended and passed them on to all of my friends. Great story & so different from the norm. These three books are a must have. I will definately read Johnnie's story all over again....
