This sweet and sturdy gift box comes with a re-sealable magnetic flap, so that the recipe cards inside can be stored easily in a kitchen or on a bookshelf in the sewing room. Each of the 20 recipe cards contains a colorful picture of the featured dessert, a brief fact about the sweet treat, instructions on how to make the dessert, and an accompanying quilt block on the flip side. The recipe cards are sleek and stain-proof, and quite mouth-watering. This collection contains:

The blocks themselves are fairly basic, but are provided in decent detail, with cutting measurements given for each piece. Most quilters will have some of these blocks already in their collection (for instance, the ubiquitous Shoofly), but the packaging is cute and the overall thought is what counts. This is a cute gift for the quilter in the family, especially if they have a sweet tooth.
