This was a delightful book for my Kindergarten children as we live in the southwest desert and the children could relate to the book.
It was a fun book and lots of comments from the children on it.

My five year old son and I just got this book and we have read it over 10 times. We love the personality of Little Britches and how she interacts with the rattlesnakes. It's a delightful story of how a young feisty cowgirl overcomes the wiles of 7 sinister snakes! The prose is quite entertaining and the illustrations are touching.
