This book is absolutely fantastic, and a must for families with a only child. The story illustrates how one can get mired in thinking that they need (unnecessary) companionship. For an only child, it teaches him or her that being in their own bed alone at night has the distinct advantage of peace and quiet. It is an absolutely lovely story with some very memorable lines. It is even a good message for adults who think 'companionship' is the answer over a good night's sleep.

My little boy (aged 2 and half) loves this book. He has it memorized word for word and has kept reciting the lines for a couple of months now.

Little Bunny is an endearing character who is appealing to kids of many ages. His quest for a good night's sleep as he drags himself around from friend to friend is really cute. The illustrations of Bunny along with his adorable friends will win your child's heart.

Purchased for a great niece so she can enjoy the story that was my daughter's favorite. Thankful for Amazon since we couldn't find it at the store!

This is a book with such entertaining pictures. I peeked inside the book and what I read really was touching. I would buy this and read it to my child if I had one to read too. However this book would warm any child's heart.

I bought this for my 2 year old and it quickly became one of her favorite books. The illustrations are wonderful and the story has a very nice message. Just the right combination of pictures and words to keep little ones enthralled and adults interested as well.

Little Bunny has a hard time sleeping alone. He goes from place to place in the woods, and asks to spend the night with a squirrel, a skunk, a porcupine, a bear, and an owl. To get some peace and quiet, he finally goes back to his own bed in his own home and discovers there is no place like home! A delightfully funny story with humor and a great message about home! Enjoyed by adults and children of all ages. Tastefully written and illustrated.

This book is fantastic no matter what, but especially if you have an only child. It teaches a wonderful lesson about feeling good about being in the situation you are in. It is also a fun book to read...our son loves the different animals and their sounds and behaviors. We have read and re-read this one many, many times. We all love it!

This is a wonderfully charming tale about a bunny who can't seem to get to sleep, so he goes to friend's house to friend's house trying to accomplish this task. In the end, he finds out that the best place to sleep is in his very own bed.

Very sweet book about a rabbit struggling to fall asleep. Great illustrations.
