• The Little Cado dwarf avocado tree is a great variety to plant if fresh avocados are to your liking and space is a problem. A self fertile variety.
• This dwarf avocado variety is great for large containers, as it only grows to about 8 to 10 feet tall. Use on patios or decks or plant in the ground.
• Best in loose, rich, well draining soil. The Little Cado's shorter size makes it easier to protect if frost may be a problem.
• The fruit is medium sized, green, and good tasting. Fruits in the summer (May to Sept) when you can enjoy the avocados for picnics and the Fourth of July.
• If used in a container, plant in good quality potting soil only and don't forget the drainage holes. The Little Cado bears young. All plants from Clifton's Nursery shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.

I ordered both the dwarf avacado tree and the dwarf lemon tree from this nursery. Both trees were shipped from California to North Carolina and arrived quickly. They were well packaged and in very good shape. Both trees are doing well and on one occasion I called Clifton's for some advice, spoke with John who is the nursery manager. He took his time speaking with me and helped answer my questions. Excellent customer service and I will order from Clifton's again.

When I received my Little Cado it was almost dead. It was no fault of the Nursery;UPS had it sitting in their 100 degree truck for days! I really loved the little tree & was trying to revive it with the help of John from the nursery. The little tree died. When I spoke to John about it he didn't ask any questions & refunded me!

This nursery has a wonderful relationship with its customers;something that you hardly ever see these days!

I gave this nursery 5 stars because I know that this would have been a beautiful tree if it would had survived.
The packing was EXQUISITE~ as is their SERVICE!
If you go on to their WebSite they have beautiful everything & very unique trees that you cannot find elsewhere.

I will order again when it gets cooler so that it won't suffer again while being shipped in this New Orleans 200 degree Heat.
