Solid hard rock album, but make sure you know what you're getting,

This review is from: Little Caesar (Audio CD)
Here's a band that could have (should have) made it big, at least for a while. Little Caesar was a hard rock (I can't quite call them "hair metal") band that Geffen put some money into promoting, even bringing in Bob Rock to produce their 1990 self-titled debut.
This is pretty much a barroom rock album along the lines of Royal Court of China, Law and Order and the Almighty. They had a nice blues base, plenty of swagger, and just enough commercial appeal. The band's version of "Chain of Fools" was a minor hit, and I particularly enjoyed "Cajun Panther" and "Little Queenie," but the whole album is fun. For whatever reason, Little Caesar never really hit big. They released a follow-up (1992's Influence) before disappearing for the better part of the last two decades. This is just a good, fun, hard-drinkin' rock n' roll album. It's a shame more people didn't get on board with Little Caesar. Maybe their tattooed biker metal appearance - worlds removed from the average spandex and hairspray prettyboy band - was too frightening for mainstream buyers. If you're a fan of the late `80s and early `90s hard rock sound, be sure to check out Little Caesar. NOTE: This version of Little Caesar is part of Amazon's On Demand program, which means when you order it here what you're getting is a CD-R. It's a nicely done CD-R, but it's not a real silver-pressed release. Keep that in mind.

What the hell there are not enough reviews for this album, a record which should have been a huge hit, but cruelty of luck and time pushed this masterpiece into obscurity, what a great album by a great band. Every track in this album is worth listening. Shame on Media and People who could not realise the greatness of this Album, Absolutely lot better then whatever crap we are listening these days from all these so-called Superstars of the day who people think are so great just listen to this record and learn how its done.
