This little coloring book is great. You don't have to be an artist to get good results. Really cute, and a bargain. Bought several more, different kinds. Holiday ones are best.

I love these little Dover books. Many complain about the size, but I think the size is fantastic, because they are absolutely perfect to stuff into a stocking. The price is more than fair for a small book of well-drawn images ripe for coloring that have no registered characters associated with them - something you won't find at the grocery store coloring book aisle.

While we own a few of these (each of our girls got two apiece in their stockings this year), this one is one of the most interesting and unique. My eldest daughter, who is almost five, had a fantastic time coloring these pictures with her little washable markers. I was surprised to find that once the colors have dried, they don't smear to the touch. She was elated that they could be held up to a window and the light shone through the colors - just like stained glass!

The pictures are classic in style, blocky - and thus, easy to color for a young child - and while there are only 8 pictures in the book, for a buck and a half they buy quite a lot of entertainment for a little kid.

In short, I think they're tops, and will absolutely be purchasing more for future Christmas stockings.

Not bad, you get what you pay for. They're tiny, and while fun to color, not a spectacular deal by any means. Plus I thought they'd be more transparent than they actually were. Still a cute activity, and the 4 for 3 promo is nice.

Very cute book. Clear pages for coloring (markers best for transparency). Definitely small (size of your hand)! My 7-year-old niece liked it so much that she colored it all in 1 sitting :)

Nice little coloring book, but it's much smaller than I realized. My own fault for not checking the dimensions. Probably better for a child who's a little older with some crayon hand control.

I just ordered a bunch of the Dover Little books. "The Little Christmas Stained Glass Coloring Book" has 8 coloring pages: Nutcracker (Soldier), Christmas Bell , full length Santa Clause w/bag of gifts, stocking with Teddy bear, snowman, Christmas tree, Santa Clause profile, and Jack-in-the-Box.

I find it a great deal for the money, especially on Amazon's 4 for 3 deal. The coloring pages are cute. They are neither too difficult or simplistic. I purchased them with a 6 and 9 year-old in mind.

We have not used these yet, so I cannot comment on ease of use as far as coloring the "stained glass" waxy paper.
