Mercer Mayer has been writing and illustrating children's books for over 35 years. He began the popular Little Critter series nearly 30 years ago and titled the first book Just for You. Cute story, a little "old" for my 2 and 1/2 year old to really understand. One day soon, though. Cute illustrations, as always, and we really love most of the little critter stories. My son asks us to read them often.
