Little Critter is very excited that Valentine's Day has finally arrived, as his class is having a huge celebration in honor of the occasion. Little Critter and all of his classmates are making Valentine's Day mailboxes, decorating the classroom with red and pink hearts, and eating cupcakes. But Little Critter is devoting most of his time to making a very special card for an extra-special Valentine; while also hoping that someone gives him a nice Valentine's Day greeting, as well.

I have loved LITTLE CRITTER ever since I was a little critter myself, and am overjoyed to see his arrival on bookstore shelves, once again. Mercer Mayer's illustrations are gorgeous, and really convey the feelings that each and every character is feeling, from bashful to happy, to concerned and in love. With each turn of the page, readers will see - and read about - Little Critter taking part in Valentine's Day celebrations. And this LITTLE CRITTER book is even better than the rest, because it features sweet little lift-the-flaps on every other page. great book for Valentine's Day! Helped my preschooler understand what the holiday is about. Made him really excited for celebrating with his friends at school!
