Mercer Mayer has been writing and illustrating children's books for over 35 years. He began the popular Little Critter series nearly 30 years ago and titled the first book Just for You. His wife, Gina, has been co-writing the series since the early 1990s. The books in this series address the major issues of growing up through humorous storytelling.

We really enjoyed this book and all of the other Little Critter books. Very cute book - Good first joke book for your little comedian.

I'm sure the product, had it been NEW, as we were expecting, is fine. The problem is that this was to be a Christmas present and the book was used, ripped, and written in! We've had good luck ordering from Amazon in the past, but this was very disappointing.
