More About the Author
Mercer Mayer has been writing and illustrating children's books for over 35 years. He began the popular Little Critter series nearly 30 years ago and titled the first book Just for You. His wife, Gina, has been co-writing the series since the early 1990s. The books in this series address the major issues of growing up through humorous storytelling.

I was pleased with this book. It was the full sized, hardcover type of book, just like advertized.It does not stray much from the classic words to "The Night Before Christmas". It does change a few words, though, like "not a creature was stirring.." to "not a critter was stirring." It has wonderfully illustrated pictures of Little Critter. It also comes with a CD recording of the "classic tale" narrated, with origianl music, by Robert Agis (in case you were interested).
