I was pleased with this book. It was the full sized, hardcover type of book, just like advertized.
It does not stray much from the classic words to "The Night Before Christmas". It does change a few words, though, like "not a creature was stirring.." to "not a critter was stirring." It has wonderfully illustrated pictures of Little Critter. It also comes with a CD recording of the "classic tale" narrated, with origianl music, by Robert Agis (in case you were interested).

I wanted this book for my grandson for Christmas reading and it came
quickly and was just great. We love it. Buy it.

I bought this adorable book for my son (3) and my daughter (1)!! It'll be passed down for sure to their kids. We love the Little Critter collection and this one doesn't disappoint!! I love the way they stick to the true Twas a Night Before Christmas Story with a Little Critter twist!! You'll love and the illustrations are beautiful!! Oh and it comes with a dvd :)

How can you not love the Mercer Mayer books! My daughter started reading in kindergarten with this series and even though she is 30 years old now, she still loves them as much as when she was a little girl.
