The Vanished Collecting World of The Littles,

This review is from: Little by Little: Six Decades of Collecting American Decorative Arts (Paperback)
This is an outstanding book to add to your collection. Tells the incredible life long tale of two of the best known New England dealers and collectors. Back in a time when real early American treasures could be purchased at local auctions. Nina and Bertram were the first to start saving original paint and finishes, NOT Antiques Roadshow. As an appraiser I use this on a regular basis. Even though I focus on Kentucky items it is a wonderful read.
