I bought this as a gift for my in-laws who had been searching in local stores for a Vienna Boys Choir CD. It made their Christmas. It was the perfect mix of songs they recognized and those that were either classical or ethnic pieces they had not heard before. A great first in anyone's Vienna Boys Choir collection.

I discovered a cassette of this recording on a bargain table
several years ago. It quickly became my favorite car tape for the Christmas season, so now I need the CD for the tapeless new car. The Stille Nacht is the German version - just a slight waltz twist at the end. Lovely. And the Pueri Concinite features a young treble voice that brings tears to your eyes. Tochter Zion is a keeper as well. There are the old standbys but for those looking for music that isn't played every day after Thanksgiving, this has some nice pieces.

The music is good and I love the Waltz. The Kaiser-Walzer reminds me of the SchubertChor in their concert. The whole CD is good, it is worth to own it. Their voices are almost angels.

As expected, the Vienna Boys Choir would make an excellent Christmas offering, as usual, this is not an disappointment. The production is excellent and the singing is, as usual, the highest quality.

This is another great CD by the Vienna Boys Choir. I love to listen to it at Christmas, or any other time of the year.I think You'll love it too.
