From the Publisher
It is the mission of the Hippocratic Press to publish stories for children about illnesses and issues important to them in order to entertain, educate and reassure both parent and child.
"The Little Elephant with the Big Earache" is the first in a series of five stories about common infectious illnesses. Two more stories are due out in the fall of 2005, "Peeper Has a Fever," about a frog who almost misses a diving contest because of a high fever; and "Katie Caught a Cold," about a polar bear with a cold who tries to skate without sneezing!
Like "The Little Elephant with the Big Earache," each new story will have a parent guide included which answers common questions from parents. The guide will offer advice about how to take care of a sick child and when to call or see the doctor.
