My Little Pony Favorite Friends Rarity the Unicorn Pony Figure

I put off buying her for a long time because I was afraid she would look weird next to all the other ponies since in the movies, she's little, and the toy is comparable in size to the adult ponies (if there are any such things in G3 land). However, once I finally got her home, I saw that her pose makes up for it, and it suits her personality wonderfully! And she looks like a sweetie with all the other ponies =) I gave her a higher educational rating than I usually give for ponies, but I think her extra qualities would mostly come from knowing what this character does in the movies, and I believe having the Rarity toy and playing with her reinforces these values. I personally recommend all MLP movies and episodes up through 2007 (in chronological order) for learning ideal moral values. And if your daughter (or whatever) is only 3 years old, even up through today as of this writing in 2009. However, Rarity only appears in "The Runaway Rainbow," "Greetings from Unicornia" (search for "The Runaway Rainbow" DVD), and "Come Back, Lily Lightly" (search for "A Very Pony Place" DVD).

I got this for my daughter's 4th birthday. She loves the DVD "Runaway Rainbow," but Hasbro doesn't currently make a Rarity doll to play with. This was perfect!

This unicorn was hard to find in stores and I was happy to find it online. It was new and in its original package. My little niece loved it. It was more expensive than the ones you buy at the stores, but it was worth buying because we couldn't find it at the store.
