"Little Feelings" is the first four lines in the first poem of a wonderful book of poetry about children's feelings. Included are not just poems about feeling happy, sad, angry, and lonely, but about worrying, excitement, bad days, responsibility, a new baby in the family, etc. This book can be read by some beginning readers, but it is mostly meant for parents and grandparents to read and discuss with their elementary school-aged children. Each poem is illustrated by an appropriate line drawing. read it wiht your child and you will see an amazing thing happen to your childs ability to talk about feelings to you with out hesatation. just give it a try you will see what i have expereanced. i wish i had this for my first child.thank you
