This review is from: The Little General and the Giant Snowflake (Hardcover)
"The Little General and the Giant Snowflake" is an imaginative parable of peace in a war-defined world, appealing to children of all ages. The dialogue between the armies of the Realists and the Dreamers is enlarged to envelope the private epiphany experience of the Little General and his Snowflake. In a humorous mini'-world perfectly captured in the shaded pencil drawings of Elizabeth Zechel, the Little General confronts and addresses his demon, or rather, his Snowflake and finds, much to his surprise, that the differences between the Realists and the Dreamers is not so great after all. "The Little General and the Giant Snowflake" is a delightful book that will resonate warmly for children of all ages.
