Little Giant 10600 Ladder Leg Leveler

It is sturdy and does the job. It is reverseable for either side of the ladder. Quality matches Little Giant. Only wish it was longer so it could be used in the middle of a flight of stairs.

I already had a Little Giant leg leveler for my Little Giant ladder. But I tried it on a copy-cat ladder version that is being sold at Home Depot to see if it would work on that other brand name, I believe it is a Werner ladder. They have their own ladder leveler. But it requires you to drill holes in the legs to install it and bolt it on. whereas the Little Giant leg leveler quiokly is installed by a screw clamp and is easily transfered quickly to another leg if desired. And, of course it works well by this clamping system to hold firmly when in use. So it worked on the Werner version of the Little Giant type ladder of theirs, which has slightly different leg shapes and contours, but it still fits it just fine. And holds on firmly as well, just fine.

The pad on the leg leveler has the reverse sideways bevel of the ladder leg it is to replace, regardless of which side you put it on or which end of the leveler you use. The result is that the entire ladder weight on the side of the leveler, instead of being spread across the entire pad with a properly beveled pad, will instead only be on the very EDGE of the pad. This simply is UNSAFE on any smooth surface and will result in instability and injury! Little Giant KNOWS about the problem and has known about it for 20 years and refuses to do anything about it, even though it would be very easy to make a mirror image of the regular ladder pad mold for the leg leveler pad which mounts inside out on the main leg it is extending! Do NOT buy this defective product and endanger yourself or anyone who might use it. This is an accident ready to happen! My research indicates that similar Werner ladder levelers for Warner ladders do NOT have this defect and are 1000% safer because of proper safety design to ensure the entire pad is in contact with the ground for your safety! If you *do* insist upon buying this Little Giant Ladder Leg Leveler, please also get the name of a good personal injury lawyer, because you will need it!!!! Then sue the pants off Little Giant to get them to fix the problem so no one else gets injured!!!

I do not have a Little Giant Ladder system. I have the Gorilla Ladders sold at Home Depot. These are a little cheaper and not quite a nice as Little Giant. However, this leveler works great with them. The locking screw adds a little to the width of the ladder, but it isn't a large inconvenience. It can be left on the ladder, even retracted above the original foot. This is nice. Otherwise, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to find the ladder and leveler, when I needed them.

I have been building a large shed on about a 20 degree slope. Before I ordered this leveler, I seem to be always putting blocks or boards under one of more ladder legs. Now, it takes about 10 seconds to drop the leveler down to the right setting. There are times where having two would be nice, such as setting up the step ladder on a slight slope, with the V of the step ladder along the hill.

I also had no problems with this third party vendor.

I bought this to go with my Werner MT-22 300-Pound Duty Rating Telescoping Multi-Ladder, 22-Foot, and it fits it just fine. It works exactly as you'd expect, and is well made. Gives you a safe and stable ladder on a hill.

I bought two of the Little Giant 22-foot ladders and they came with two of the leg levelers. These are very handy when working outside around the house. For example, I used them to level my ladder when repairing my roof and these were rock-solid. What's even more impressive is that they held steady even when I was carrying 100 lbs of shingles while I went up the ladder. Add to that fact that I weigh 255 lbs, this means that the ladder and the levelers did not budge under a 355 pound load. That's exceptional since the limit of the ladder and the levelers is only 300 lbs.

The levelers are a lot sturdier than shoving a board or a rock under a ladder leg to make the ladder level.

I have a spiral stairway & this has made painting & hanging crown molding so much easier. Worth the price. Glad that I purchased.

I purchased the Little Giant ladder plus the Leg leveler just in case. The ladder came in first and I just can't wait to start working on my chandelier of my 20+ feet stairwell. Then I found out I can't position the ladder on my curved stair in a safe, stable way. I ended up stopping my work and wait a couple days until I received my Leg Leveler. Then voila, it certainly solve my problem and I got my work done. Of course, if you don't need to work on uneven surface then you don't need this.

The only Cons is the price is still hight, otherwise, it would receive a 5 stars from me.

Noted that there're different Leg Levelers for different Ladder model, check before you purchase it.

This attachment has made my Little Giant ladder even better. I have several types of ladders, but the LG has the most flexibility and utility, especially with the addition of the leg leveler. I highly recommend this product.

The Leg Leveler worked great. I was painting the outside of a screened in house where the outside was very uneven. Took me 2 days to do the ends without this and 3 hours to finish the sides with the leg leveler. Easy to use and adjust each time I moved the ladder. My Ladder is a Gorilla and it fits perfectly.
