5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sump Pump
This was an exact replacement of my existing pump. Outlet line froze and burned out the pump at 9 years old. My fault. Grady's ships fast, lowest price and was hassle free. Pump is easy to install and the floatless design works great.

3.0 out of 5 stars Subersible pump WO float switch but rusts
We just replaced one of this pump our contractor installed two years ago. The pump still works well but with increasing noise when switching off. We replaced the pump becuse the housing of pump looked rusted and we are not sure how much longer it will last. The apprearance of the pump is so bad that we couldn't believe it's a submersible pump.

I was replacing the exact same pump that had been in my sump for nearly 19 years.. I was shocked to see it available on Amazon, but I couldn't beat the price. The order came quickly and it works like a champ.

Just a note to let potential buyers know that this pump is a workhorse. Now 2 years old, the pump has worked flawlessly and just got us through some extreme flooding conditions here in NJ - record August rainfall followed by hurricane Irene, followed by the prolonged and sometimes torrential rainfall of tropical storm Lee. Bought this pump after using a Flotech with a "float" - a bad design. The water sensor design, like this pump uses, is the way to go. Saved us thousands of dollars of potential flooding damage - well worth the cost.

Just made it through Hurricane Irene with this pump. It ran constantly for many hours non-stop without any problems.

I have a small pit and with the float free design and compact size i can put a backup pump and still have room for a utility pump if needed.

Would buy this again but will look for one with higher HP.

3.0 out of 5 stars I bougth this pump to move clothes washer water, September 1, 2010

I bought this pump to move clothes washer water from a small sump to an overhead drain, and for this it works great, however, after being in use only 3 weeks it is rusting. the rust is showing at 3 different places on the body where it appears that mechanical jaws held the body for assembly, running down form where the cover is attached, and also form a few places where the coating does not appear to have been applied correctly
