I bought this book for my card game-loving father after searching all available similar books. I wanted something which offered directions and rules on as many different games as possible and this tome does fit the bill. Unfortunately, I didn't look closely at the book's actual dimensions when ordering and was quite surprised by just how small it really is. Don't get me wrong, it is fairly thick and includes scads of card games all laid out very nicely - but the book itself is very squat and the print is pretty small. (My fault for not paying close enough attention). But I'd hate for another shopper to make the same mistake if they are shopping for a person with poor vision. Just be aware - it is a very "Little Giant".
