My chickens love it and so do I. It's easy to fill and easy to keep clean. No worry about rust like with my old one. But . . . the cover I bought with it wasn't as large as I expected.

this little unit has turned out to be the ticket for my use. holds 11 pounds of pellets, and with the addition of a simple modified funel over the top the chickens stay off the top of it and works quite well. mine is suspended with a carabiner from some steel cable a couple inches off the ground. well made good value.

Got this for my growing chicks - now chickens. I didn't hang it, but set it on the floor of the chicken house. Seems to work fine. Just wish it had a cover, as sometimes one of the chickens will get on top of it and . . . , right into the food. Good news is that the others don't really seem to care. Just me. Really easy to service - just dump a scoop or two in the top each day and you're good. Beats the trough-type feeder I was using.
