As a teacher of English, I'm familiar with the way college age students write. Al DiOrio created this tribute to Judy when he was exactly that age. It's warm-hearted, uncritical and -- from what I've read in any number of works on Judy since her death -- a little book that she definitely would have loved. It would be interesting to know what the author is doing now, almost 30 years after this title was published.
