5.0 out of 5 stars Great For Travel
We took these on vacation (6 hour drive) and my 2 yr. old son loved coloring with them as well as just playing with them (holding the case, opening it, taking out & sorting the crayons, etc.).

2.0 out of 5 stars Stick with Crayola
I bought these for my almost-2 year old son, as we take crayons and a drawing pad with us whenever we go to restaurants. I have soem crayola crayons, which are great, but the cardboard box they come in gets ripped easily, and then the crayons start getting lost. I bought these because they come in a travel case, which I thought would help with the lost crayons issue...

1.0 out of 5 stars Fine, if you like invisible crayons, October 10, 2009

One problem -- these crayons don't make visible marks on a page. A pretty basic failing in a crayon. Avoid.

Pros would be: good color selection, nice and chunky for small hands.
Cons vastly outweigh the pros, and are that the colours are very weak, some barely show up on paper at all (orange, light blue for example) and the so-called "travel case" is made of the flimsiest plastic imaginable, more like the stuff that cheap blister packs are made of. I don't expect the "travel case" will last any longer than the crayola cardboard.

This was a waste of money, and I would recommend buying Crayola crayons, and putting them in a sturdy tin case instead.
