One of the tenderest, least condescending children's albums ever made. If you're a fan of Edwards' buttery yet raspy singing, you'll be charmed by his renditions of children's classics like Stewball and Flies in the Buttermilk and moved by his own original compositions, like Little Hands. In some ways, my child always preferred Raffi and more bouncy CD's to this one - but for music that dug into my heart as well as his, this one can't be beat. I give it regularly as a new-baby gift.

For kids especially, this collection of songs shines. But adults to will enjoy it too.. especially the sentiment written in the tittle track, "Little Hands". If you're a parent of a young one this song will make you feel all warm and fuzzy :D Check out Edwards' other albums... he's the BEST!

I give this as a gift to all new parents- And sing along with "Little Hands" and "I love my little Girl" everynight with my daughter (age 7). Beautiful and touching lyrics go straight tot he heart- and put children straight to sleep.Highly recommended from a lifetime fan.
