Little Heroes 1 - Man's best friends are taking a bite out of crime!

Former tobacco company employee, Harry Burton, prepares to leave for washington, DC to testify against his former employer in a lawsuit that could deliver a serious financial blow to the cigarette industry. Harry and his wife, Shelly, say good bye to their son Charlie, the maid Maria and their two dogs, Sa,son and Hercules, and head off to the airport. Two thugs sneak in the house and grab Charlie to force Harry into altering his testimony. But the thugs plans are thwarted when they are confronted by the two dogs. Through a hilirious, never-ending battle of obstacles and traps, using every bone, fishing pole and electric mixer within reach their paws, they run the tables on the thugs saving Charlie and allowing Harry to give his testimony.. honestly.

Charlie and his dogs, Samson and Hercules, travel with Aunt Karen to see the ships at the Naval Yard. While Charlie and Karen are touring the Navel Yard, the dogs save an old man who falls off the pier into ocean. TV reporters boradcast the heroics of the two dogs hailing them as "Little Heroes". On camera, Charlie is offered a free days at Universal Studios Hollywood by a studio representative and an animal hero medal for each of the dogs. In the meantime, Carney and Slick, the two bumbling convicts who with the help of Samson and Hercules and previously been apprehended, manage to escape from prison. They see the dogs on TV and feeling the need to avenge themselves on the canine duo, head for Universal. Carney and Slick are continually foiled and hilariously ambushed by the dogs through comical pursuits and pratfalls. Charlie is thrilled as his dogs are LITTLE HEORES once again. ** /// **
