My daughter (6 years old) read the Little House series together. She wanted more and this series of books is ideal. She is able to read them herself and she recognizes parts from the longer series. She reads them over and over many times.

Parties with Laura,

In the book Little House Parties, Laura and her friends are at a boy named Ben Johnson's birthday party. In this excellent book I especially enjoyed reading about the part where the party guests held hands and an electric shock goes through all of then as quick as lightning.
