5.0 out of 5 stars Vital season for fans!, December 31, 2004
By A. G. (Michigan) - See all my reviews

This season contains many turning points for our favorite characters: Almanzo and Laura are married; the Garveys move away from Walnut Grove; Adam regains his sight; Percival and Nellie have twins; Charles and Caroline adopt orphaned James and Cassandra. In addition to the character developments, this season also includes some classic moments of poignancy or humor, including Albert's growing up (first with a penpal who conceals that she is in a wheelchair, then with his plan to marry troubled, illicitly pregnant Sylvia) and the doomed picture window that Laura breaks three times in demonstrations of anger at her new husband.

And now, the episodes, first aired from September 22, 1980 to May 11, 1981):

Laura Ingalls Wilder (parts 1 & 2)
A New Beginning
Fight Team Fight!
The Silent Cry
Portrait of Love
Divorce, Walnut Grove Style
Dearest Albert, I'll Miss You
The In-Laws
To See the Light (parts 1 & 2)
Oleson versus Oleson
Come, Let Us Reason Together
The Nephews
Make a Joyful Noise
Goodbye, Mrs. Wilder
Sylvia (parts 1 & 2)
Blind Justice
I Do, Again
The Lost Ones (parts 1 & 2)

5.0 out of 5 stars Sad and Wonderful, January 13, 2006
A Kid's Review
I really liked this season. I have almost all of them. And this is the most memorable and funny one yet. Laura and Almanzo get married. Eliza Jane moves away. The Garveys move away to Sleepy Eye. A new football coach comes to town and takes it so far that the team wants to quit and Albert gets hurt. There are a few episodes in Sleepy Eye with the Garvey's, And the Kendalls.
After a few mishaps Laura suspects that Almanzo is having a love affair with one of her friends. Albert gets a penpal that he lies too. About being the tallest and everything. He wants to say he's sorry in person so he visits her and finds out she lied about everything too. Almanzo and Charles want to expand their buisness but they don't get along when trying to do so.
Adam regains his sight and decides he wants to be a lawyer.
The married women of Walnut Grove are upset to find out that everything that is theirs now belongs to thier husbands. They start a petition which leads to a rebellion.
Percivals Parents come to town and his father and Mrs. Oleson argue about the grandchild being a christian or a jew.
Almanzo's brother Royal leaves his two wacky kids with the Wilders while they go on vacation.
Laura quits teaching after Mrs. Oleson suggests the school adds "French", and "Art Aprecciation." Mrs. Oleson takes over the school and the kids end up hating it. (No wonder)
Adam and Mary move back to Walnut Grove so Adam can start a law practice there.
Caroline believes she's pregnant until Doc Baker tells her she'll never again have children. She gets very upset and Charles takes her back to her hometown for a vacation.
Charles and Albert are traveling with the Cooper family when the parents get killed. After alot of stress the Ingalls find a home for the children James and Cassandra. Until they realize that adopting them was the right thing and they do.
This is all of Season 7. It has some special features: Exclusive interviews with Dean Butler (Almanzo Wilder) and Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson-Dalton). Audio Commentary with Alison Arngrim, Author and Journalist Patrick Loubatiere sits with friends Dean Butler and Alison Arngrim and discuss's the television program. Quizz for Season 7. I enjoyed this season and i hope you do too. Buy it soon before you're nerves drive you crazy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Will we get lucky in Season 7?, November 2, 2004
Season 7 will be released in February 2005 and should contain the following episodes. This is the season where Laura and Almonzo wed, Adam Kendal regains his eyesight, Percival's parents are introduced with their Jewish faith, Caroline is no longer able to conceive children, and we meet James and Cassandra Cooper after their parents are killed. I truly hope that they will interview Karen Grassle on this seasons Special Features. Will we be so lucky in Season 7?
