I've had one of Tony Millionnaire's licensed Sock Monkey stuffed animals sitting in the front seat of my truck for years, and everyone loves him. Why? Because he is Sock Monkey!
Granted, I make the point that this is "Tony Millionnaire's Sock Monkey," also known as "Uncle Gabby," to be precise, but it doesn't matter. A sock monkey in the cab of a pickup truck is all that anyone in the world desires, and so be it. Nonetheless, buy this book, and all of Tony Millionnaire's other Sock Monkey books. Why? Because they are bursting with the kind of odd whimsey, angst, and weirdness that make it worthwhile to keep a Sock Monkey in the cab of your pickup truck to begin with. How do you think I wound up with Uncle Gabby as my co-pilot for all of these years? I mean, Geez, I'm taking my life into my hands! I mean, Geez, you know? Uncle Gabby Rules! Get over anything else distracting you from it! |
