5.0 out of 5 stars BEST VIDEO OUT THERE!!!
I am a second grade teacher with kids ages 2, 6 and 9. I got the Baby Laureate tapes for my youngest, but even the older kids love watching it. The educational value is peerless, the production quality is OUTSTANDING and the dash of foreign language exposure in this tape is just wonderful. I get these tapes for all my expectant friends now; it has become my standard...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not nearly as good as the colors one
My son LOVES the "twinkle" DVD (Little Laureate's My World Colors) we got him with the colors... this one, on the other hand, he could care less about. Not enough interesting things for him to watch, and the music is not nearly as good. If you're looking for a DVD that can teach your kid something and will be entertaining enough to watch for the whole hour - go with the...

4.0 out of 5 stars My 2-Year-Old Keeps Asking For It, September 29, 2003
Great production quality, highly educational, thoroughly enjoybale viewing for parents. My 2-year-old asks for it every day. When she watches, she talks along with the tape: "equator," "kangaroo," nice enhancements to her vocabulary. Even my 9-year-old likes to watch it. She likes the reinforcment of things she's learning in school, about the Amazon rainforest, etc. It's great to know my kids can be exposed to everything from the Great Wall of China to the foreign languages at such an early age.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING VIDEO! Highly recommend!, April 13, 2004
I can't say enough about the videos from this company. They are so well-done and full of such amazing content. If you are looking for a five star at-home educational enhancement, as I was, do yourself and your family a favor, and get this tape! You will love it as much as your kids!

5.0 out of 5 stars We Love Baby Laureate!, September 25, 2003

This review is from: Little Laureate's For the Love of World Travel [VHS] (VHS Tape)
We are so glad someone has finally come along with tapes for children that make sense, are well done, are educational and fun for everyone -- even parents -- to watch. My children loved the first tape "For the Love of Art," and they love this one even more! My 19-month-old asks for the "Star" tape every night. It makes me so happy to have finally found something I can feel good about my kids watching.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Geography Lesson, September 11, 2003
By A Customer
We have every baby tape on the market and this is the first one I have seen that teaches kids geography. My husband is from Europe, so it's wonderful that my kids can have a global view of other places. I especially love that it teaches kids how to say "I Love You" in other languages. Wonderful production. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Video, October 11, 2009

"Star" was my 18-month old's first word. He is a bit obsessed with this video, which worries me a bit at times; but, other times, as when trying to do dishes, this video has saved the day. It is amazing how effectively all the components (music, visuals, words, flow) work together.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 2 Year Old Want to go to the Rainforest, April 16, 2004
By
Becky Billings (Boca Raton, Florida) - See all my reviews
Since I got this DVD, my 2-year-old has been asking me to go the the rainforest on "cacation". She tells me she wants to see birds, monkeys and frogs like she sees on the video. We talk about Paris and China and all sorts of wordly places we'll go together. It makes me so happy that she's not only been exposed to this kind of culture, but that she loves it and talks about it. Kudos to For the Love of World Travel!
