Fairly Good Catch,
By Sonny Saggese "dionbs" (Boston) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Little T Learns to Share (T. O.'s Time Outs) (Hardcover)
I must preface this review by stating that I am a huge Dallas Cowboys Fan. Now with that said when my daughter was giving this book for Christmas it was for a joke. I live in New England Patriot country. I expected the book to.....well stink. I read it to her that next day and I was pleasantly surprised. It's not that bad. The illustrations are very colorful, and the story has a nice message. The only drawback to this book, besides the potential hypocrisy (which I think is disputable considering that the media isn't fair to To) is the language. The book is told in a narrative rhyming sequence which is pretty clunky. It doesn't flow very well. It's choppy. But this book is a success. Maybe anybody can write a children's book, but this one is better then most. After further review the call stands, nice book.

I bought this book for my nephew since he's a T.O. fan. When I got it I thought it was cute and had a good lesson in the story. I would say however that it's not the most gramatically correct book so I didn't think that was the best lesson for kids. I wouldn't recommend it for other children unless they're a T.O. fan. If so then it's fine and they'll really like it I'm sure.

We went to a book siging to get this book. Truthfully, I wasn't sure if the book was going to live up to the hype. T.O. graciously signed books and all proceeds went to charity. I was surprised this book was so well written. My four year old wants me to read it over and over again. He doesn't like for me to read to him but he loves this book! It is the perfect book for children. Its not too short but not too long. I have read this book at least 10 times in the past 3 days. I would recommend this book to anyone with small children. It is great book for little boys because of the football theme. However, the lesson is something everyone can appreciate. Great Book!

Compared to Dr. Seuss books, this book was much easier to read. The author's command of childhood language is superb. Page after page, the story and pictures leap out at you, like Terrell himself diving for the endzone. Wow!! My child likes it, too! If T.O.'s football career were to end tomorrow, he should dedicate the rest of his life to children's books. He is a master writer. A joyous edition to any home library, as T.O. is to any NFL team who welcomes him aboard! I can't wait until Terrell's next release. Please hurry, T.O.!

I reluctantly admit that I purchased this book and even more reluctantly admit that my 5 year old son Thor (i.e. my Little T) loves it.

Wonderful Book,
This review is from: Little T Learns to Share (T. O.'s Time Outs) (Hardcover)
Despite the author, this book is wonderful. I am not a big T.O. fan, but this book is very appropriate for young children. My four year old son is a big fan of this book. I would recommend it for anyone!!!!

LITTLE T LEARNS TO SHARE has an excellent lesson for children and is told in a way, with great illustrations, that is a joy to read. I have given it to several friends with young grandsons and they have all enjoyed reading it to and with them.

Little T and the big lesson,
This review is from: Little T Learns to Share (T. O.'s Time Outs) (Hardcover)
This book is a very good read. Little T learns a very valuable lesson about friends, sharing, and respect. Big T needs to follow his own advice. You earn respect from people by treating them with respect. Not by acting like an idiot in front of the nation, and disgracing your team. In short it is a book that is good from someone who needs help in that area
