Book Description

August 2004
At fifty, David had everything he ever wanted: the presidency of a large corporation, a luxurious mansion, and marriage to Abby - all made possible by the death of his best friend, Abby's husband. 5.0 out of 5 stars Hamlet Retold, March 4, 2008

This book can be read at two levels. For someone who never heard of Shakespeare it is s good 20th Century yarn. Those familiar with Hamlet will recognize the Danish Prince, Ophelia, Gertrude, Claudius, Polonius,Laertes, Horatio and most of the other characters from the greatest tragedy ever written who are wonderfully reproduced under of course different names. Charlotte Armstrong the great mystery and suspense write was obviously also a Shakespearean scholar. This is a wonderful read.
