The recordings presented here dating from the mid-1950s show Foley at his versatile best, just at home with Square Dance type material (a throw back to Cumberland Ridge Runners days) as he was with Country blues and boogie, folk songs, sly comedy and everything in between. Amongst his hit songs covered here are "Freight Train Boogie", "Sugarfoot Rag", "Salty Dog Rag", "Hearts Of Stone", "Milk Bucket Boogie" and "Hobo Boogie". The backing band are some of Nashville s finest: Grady Martin on guitar, also doubling fiddle with Tommy Jackson; Bud Isaacs on steel guitar; Jimmie Selph on accordion, and Bob Moore on bass.

This is a absolute killer album..
Just listen to Grady Martin Bud Isaacs and the whole band swing thru these old time hits..One of my best records..A 5 star album

Most of the music I heard from the past is the best you can get
from Sigers like Lefty Frizzel,Hank Snow,Lester Flatt,And lots more, and in the best sound quality. You'll find none better
