Believe the hype people,

I would just like to say that this CD is off the hook folks. I am a rabid acid jazz fan (Heavies, Liquid Soul, etc) and have strayed away from todays "everyone sounds the same" R&B but this is different. N'Dambi is like a cross between the sensuality of Maxell, vocals of Badu and the passions of NdegeOcello. Throw in a little jazz sound of Incognito and there you go. Pick up this CD because it is becoming hard to find. The sad fact is that it isn't "todays sellout" R&B but not jazzy enough for a jazz station. Radio stations won't know how to classify her but I do; just damn good music. Keep up the work N'Dambi!

Great Music...,

N'Dambi tears it down when she backs up Erykah and she really did a fantastic job with her debut CD. "Sunshine" is something that I can play over and over again as well as many others. She's unique and very talented. I hope a big record company picks her up one day. Like her name, the music is unique and deserves a bigger audience. I was hooked when I saw her do a tribute for Nina Simone in Philly at an IAAAM funciton. She had cats standing up and screaming. Get this if you don't have it already....

Its 2000 and I'm still riding with this CD in my car, at work in my CD drive, at home in the changer. This Goddess is one of the best out there now. I know every song word-for-word. And taking a Quote from another reviewer, "I think that black stations are missing out on a lot of talent and opportunities to enlighten those that are not aware" I saw her for the second time at Yin Yang Music Cafe in Atlanta and she ripped it. Looking forward to hearing from her in the furture on tour or on CD. WHATEVA! Go get it, go get it, go get it! and while you there check out Fertile Ground {title:} Spirtual WarONE...
