4.0 out of 5 stars At least one good trick!!
Husband bought this kit to do tricks for a granddaughter who loves magic. Grandpa mastered the coin trick and everyone was very impressed. Grandson loved the trick so much that he wanted to borrow grandpa's Little Box of Magic so he could impress his friend with the Coin Trick. Instead, we bought granson his own Little Box of Magic Tricks.

3.0 out of 5 stars Magic??
This magic box was supposed to be for ages 6 and up. Unfortunately, the box consisted of very few "magic" items and MANY small books. Most of the tricks in the books didn't even use the items that came in the box. My daughter was quite disappointed. I would choose one of the bigger magic sets, if I were to replace this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not enough tricks, September 8, 2007
This review is from: Little Box of Magic Tricks (Hardcover)
I got this for my nephew and my daughter. Both of them are five. Both are pretty into doing magic tricks. But they were totally bored with this magic set.

It's full of these little books that tell you how to do the tricks. If you can't read yet, then you have to depend on an adult to help.

Also some of the tricks that were included (such as a plastic egg with handkerchief attached) did not show up in the books, so we had no clue how to use them.

I would look for a better kit for little kids. This might be ok for older kids.
