5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Read February 19, 2012
By Pyoko
Although this book is centered around landscaping and the tools needed to enhance your business I found that it pertain to any business. Having both a landscaping and painting company I found it spoke to me as well. It showed me ways to make my small business grow with helpful facts on things to do and advertising methods that work. I gave 4 copies of this book out to other business like people because I enjoyed it that much. I reference it all the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Info, and Easy to Implement February 19, 2012
By Clark
A great resource for anybody in the green industry, or any other home improvement contractor for that matter. The book is full of great marketing ideas, many of which can be put into action quickly and easily. I constantly find myself picking up and referring to my copy any time I'm considering my marketing actions for my company.

Most of the ideas are easy to comprehend and easy to put into action without big investments or dramatic changes to your existing business. It's typically just a matter of changing a few simple actions and changing the way you think. Whether you're tech-savvy or not, a big company or a one-man show, there's plenty of useful info in this book for anybody.

5.0 out of 5 stars My "GO TO" Book for Marketing February 21, 2012
My husband and I started a landscape design firm two years ago. He is the designer. I do the marketing. We quickly discovered that print media was not an effective tool for marketing our brand. We found this little jewel of a book, and it has been front and center in my office all this time. The marketing tools discussed are simple and straight-forward, targeted specifically for the green industry. It has definitely helped us gain a presence in the on-line community and we continue to reference it as our business grows. This will be our go-to reference for years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dense & Useful March 8, 2010
The Little Green Book is packed with useful and actionable information for the landscape professional.
We have used several ideas to focus our marketing dollars and increase our online visibility.
The danger in this book is that there are so many useful ideas you might find it hard to focus.
The author warns you to pick a few and go forward, again, very useful information.
I have purchased this book for others in the landscape world and told peers of it's value.
Another important feature of this book is it's strong orientation toward the most current technologies.
He sees the need for that in the landscape profession. This book is too useful to ignore.
