Little miss helpful is about helpful showing up to Mr Happy who is sick. She just annoys the heck out of him. I suppose some people can find the circumstance funny or cute that Little Miss Helpful is more of a hindrance, but it didn't do much for my son or me.

Very good for preschoolers! Teaches them how to be helpful to others. Our children started these over 30 years ago when we lived in England and now we are reading them to our grandchildren.

This series of books try to give a message to the young reader. Unfortunately in this book, the message is 'don't help people'. The tone is negative throughout - just a series of mishaps that occur when the title character tries to help.

I'm glad we only got it from the library so we will take it back soon.

My grandaughter LOVES these books... VERY good teaching tools! I have bought almost every one and will keep buying them!

These books are great for kids. They are colorful and cheerful. My daughter loves the stories. Most of the stories have a message to present to the children.

How on earth does this book help children be helpful? Like the rest of the books from this series, this one is a huge disappointment. The writing is awkward and flat without a discernable narrative.

The first line of the book says, "Little Miss Helpful was the kind of person who loves to help other people, but ends up helping no one at all."

What kind of lesson is that for children? On the up side the pictures are insanely cute. So buy the book and just make up your own storyline.
