5.0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining
My 4 year old daughter finds this doll extremely entertaining and plays with her all the time. It is the first talking doll she has had and it really does make her laugh. The voice really doesn't bother me - I had been worried after reading another review. I can't atest as to durability as we only just got her, but she is definitely a hit in this house!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not the Baby Ah-choo you remember
I ordered this from Amazon sight unseen. I had a Baby Ah-choo when I was a little girl, and thought this doll would be similar. If you're a mom who remembers the Baby Ah-choo from the 70s, run, don't walk from this doll. The dress/nightgown on this doll is very cheap material and very flimsy. The doll feels more like a robot when it moves than it does a baby...

The doll feels more like a robot when it moves than it does a baby doll. The oddest and creepiest thing about this doll is the voice. It sounds like a man trying to sound like a little girl. If I could put a voice to, "Little girl, would you like some candy?" spoken by a creepy man, that is the voice of this doll. It moans and groans after and before it sneezes, sounding like a sick old man. It's truly very weird! I rarely write reviews, but had to for this product. I'll be returning this doll.

I thought this doll is adorable. I bought it for my 4 year old granddaughter. I haven't given it to her yet, but i'll bet she will love it! I didn't think the voice was creepy at all....i thought it was cute and funny.

I got this for my 3 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. She loved it! She loves taking care of the "sneezing Baby." The doll has different sayings for when she takes her "medicine" from the included spoon. It really is quite cute. My daughter loves taking care of her. The only suggestion is that the baby could have come with more clothes. I mean, no wonder she has a cold, she's only wearing a t-shirt and panties. :) But, maybe after the holidays, my daughter and I can make her some together. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to a friend for sure. Amazon had the best price at the time I bought this, but now my local walmart has them on sale for almost half-price. Oh well, that's usually how it goes.

I bought this doll for my 5 year old grand daughter for Christmas. She is very pleased because it talks, sneezes and coughs like a real child when sick. I feel this doll was well worth the money.

My 5yr old loves taking care of her Baby Ah-Choo. I previously bought her a similar doll "get well baby" or something like that and she wasn't too enthusiastic, but Baby Ah-choo says 30 different things, knows when something is in her mouth, and is very polite and helps reinforce things like Please and thank you when she says "Tissue Please." She has a really cute voice too which makes it easier for parents to tolerate the doll talking non stop when your child is playing.

3.0 out of 5 stars It for a child - not an adult!, January 2, 2010

Ha,ha,ha. I like the comment about the voice. Now that I hear it again - it does sound like an adult pretending to be a child, but not a man - more like Carol Channing!

If your CHILD likes dolls - she will like this one. Isn't that what it's all about? If she's anything like mine - she will forget about it and move on to another toy in six months. Plenty of time for it to last :-(

I was disappointed that the instructions tell you she speaks when the spoon goes near the doll's mouth. We tried & tried - it doesn't work! She speaks all other times, though.

1.0 out of 5 stars NEGATIVE comments, December 14, 2009

What an adorable concept---my daughter just loves taking care of this little baby. However there are a couple lines of speech that are very negative and after playing with the toy I had a hard time giving my daughter medication.
when you give the baby doll medicine it says,
"Nooo way you, try it"
"That tastes Yucky"
"Blaaaaa"

I feel these types of comments are very negative, and children should be taught about the positive aspects of taking medicine.

I would probably not recommend purchase of this product

I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She had seen it somewhere and kept saying she wanted Santa to bring her one. She was so excited when she opened it on Christmas morning and she has had a lot of fun playing with it. I have to admit that I played with it for a while when it first came in and I thought it was so cute that I bought another one for an Angel Tree child.

I cannot answer your questions about how durable this toy is or if my granddaughter even liked it. I do know that my husband can not touch or even be near this doll as she has a magnet of some kind in her. He has a pacemaker. If I had known that when I purchased her, I would not have bothered. I will find out how my granddaughter likes her on Christmas.
