My 4 year old has 2 of these Sweet as Me dolls, and the oldest is nearly 3 years old. Both are absolute favorites. (We had to buy the second one when the first was accidentally left at Grandma's on a trip.) Very durable after much rough love from a toddler. We're finally seeing the cloth body wear through where the legs are joined. My only complaint is that it is difficult to get new outfits and that the dolls stay nude most of the time due to toddler fascination with removing clothes. The dolls are nude -- nude colored fabric and they do not wear any form of underwear. But, hey, they're dolls. They're cuddly, soft, durable dolls that are perfectly snuggly with lovely faces. My 1 year old is already set on stealing them for herself. Definitely worth the money for quality and beauty.

After a lot of searching on the internet I found your website which I used to purchase most of my Xmas gifts to my grandkids...all arrived in perfect time and all were just as you described them on the internet. This doll is beautiful and very alive looking! the outfit too cute for words...I am sure my grandaughter will enjoy her for months to come! Next year I wont shop anywhere but with you! First of all, I was resistant to get my daughter a doll at all. However, her nurturing nature took over my feminist preoccupation, so I broke down and got this doll after I found it wasn't overtly feminine or too caucasian. In fact, she looks a lot like my daughter.

She was obsessed from the moment we got her out of the box. She drags her everywhere and we have gone through 2 dolls (1 lost), with a backup in the closet. The one and only issue I have with this doll is that her hair was a royal mess from the first week we got it. Her hair cut is all funky and uneven and then when my 16 month old drags her around by her hair, it makes her a total dreadlocked nightmare in no time. I wish they made these dolls with softer hair OR longer hair so we could at least tie it back. Basically, we have our "pardon our daughter's doll" schtick down.

This is the perfect doll for a 2-yr-old & still loved by my 5-yr-old. I love it's simplicity w/o the gimmics e.g. sound effects, food, etc. Huggable bean body & wonderful vanilla scent! Perfect size & weight for hugging & toting around. Durable - we have 2 previous that still look great after 3 years of loving play. Hair can start to look messy, but was very surprised at how well it combed out w/ a simple comb & gentle touch. I also learned by recent comparison that beige body is a nice feature - allows for summer clothing w/o odd look of white bean body.

I HAVE THREE GRANDAUGHTERS. I HAVE SPENT QUIET A BIT OF MONEY ON DOLLS AND TOYS FOR THEM. WHEN I FOUND THIS DOLL 2 YEARS AGO, I PURCHASED ONE. ONE OF MY GRANDAUGHTERS CARRIED THIS DOLL AROUND EVERYWHERE. IT WAS SO EASY TO CARRY AND SHE COULD PLACE IT TO SIT BESIDE HER IN THE CARSEAT AND ON THE COUCH. SHE LEFT IT IN THE RAIN ONE DAY AND MESSED IT UP. I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER, THESE DOLLS ARE HARD TO FIND. I FOUND SEVERAL ON AMAZON AND HAD TO GRAB THEM UP. I PROMISE, YOUR LITTLE GIRLS WILL LOVE DRAGGING THIS DOLL AROUND.

this little doll series is cute ( dolls usually freak me out), soft-bodied yet rugged, and with a bit more personality than the average. a simple doll, doesn't "do" anything, and inspires imaginative play. one of our very favorites and oh, yes we have quite a few. also a big plus: she comes in various ethnicities.

Not sure which girl likes it more, the 5 year old owner or her younger sister, who will be 3 soon. Both like to change her outfit and carry her around in their existing baby doll strollers, and they each got one (different, but same) for Christmas last year!

My 2 year old daughter received this doll as a birthday gift in May & she loves it! It is, by far, her favorite doll. She kisses her, rocks her, brushes her hair, & pushes her around in the Little Mommy stroller. This doll is so cute & has a soft belly just right for hugging & her hair smells like vanilla. I'm not sure where the name Sam comes from. The box calls this doll Sunny Days, so we named her Sunny. My daughter also has the Holiday doll & she will be getting a third Sweet As Me doll for Christmas. We love this doll collection!

This is my toddler's favorite doll. The doll has an extra pleasant look about her and my toddler loves to carry her around pretty much every where she goes. The doll has a soft body and is easy to hold and cuddle. I recommend this toy.

Our six year old daughter recieved this doll at Christmas and has been her "mommy" ever since. I like that she does not talk, has a practical and realistic little girls' outfit (as opposed to a frilly little pink dress), and her hair is woven in such a way that it does not look destroyed by week 2. Oh, and she just happens to look like our little girl...but that's a fun bonus :)
