This thing is cute. Not perfect, but cute and a great deal of fun.

My daughter (6) got the Little Mommy toddler this holiday season and also this Play Center, and I have to say that she would NOT have fallen in love with the doll without this add-on. There are just so many fun 'mommy' activities. For one there is a slide, a white board, a cell phone, storage area for LM Toddler's special food, a clock, a high chair, and most importantly (who knew? ;-) a potty.

Now if you don't already know, the doll talks and has some sort of system that uses magnets to give her input, so that when you hold food up to her mouth, for example, she makes eating noises; and if she goes down the slide, she goes wheeee; and when on the potty she says something to the effect of 'I did it, mommy'.

Cons -

--I would only pay the discounted amount here and not the full one. The toy is cute and cool, but not THAT cool.

--The slide has this propensity to come apart, but it's easy -at least for a six y.o.-- to put it back together.

--For younger children you should know the white board works and that the marker marks. I don't know about you, but when my children were two, they would have put the marker in their mouth.

--The high chair is difficult to use. The tray doesn't slide and its hard to stuff the doll in. It is also a little difficult for me to put the tray on.

Pro's -

-- The slide and the potty make her talk.

-- There's storage room for the doll's special food.

-- There's a place for the cell phone and marker to go.

-- The white board really works. My daughter uses it to 'teach' her new darling math and reading. She uses the clock to practice telling time.

Four Stars. Not perfect but a lot of fun. I am sooo glad we bought this. It really made the Little Mommy experience complete. There are plenty of activities and chances to practice being a mommy of an older child. Finally, and pretty darned importantly, I would say that it is only worth the sale amount.

This product is so awful it actually put me in a bad mood! Thank goodness I purchased this at a discount because it is not worth the full price (actually I wouldn't want it for free it is so bad). It's cheap. It falls over easily causing my child to be annoyed. The slide falls off. Doll gets stuck in slide. The highchair is ridiculous, it's hard to get doll in and out of and falls over and off of the unit. They include a potty yet the doll can't take her pants off, so I guess she just "tinkles" through her pants. The one I got must have been defective because she never said "I did it" after going potty (even though left hand was near soap like directions say). They include a cookie and sippy cup which doesn't trigger the doll to do anything! Unlike the ones the doll comes with. So my poor daughter can't figure out what the problem is and she gets frustrated. I can't tell you how stupid this toy is!!!!! Ugh.

I have two daughters ages 5 & 4. My 4 yr old is the Mommy in the family and really wanted "another" baby doll for Christmas. She asked for numerous interactive dolls that were very expensive but I had to consider her age with many of the interactive dolls that were advertised; would she really be able to play with the toy they way it was advertised. She also asked for this playcenter. And it had been rated as one of the favorite toys by kids through one of the parent magazines I receive. I jumped at buying this just before the holiday because of the sale price. I paid 16.99 through a sale on Amazon. And after seeing and playing with the toy that is closer to what the retail price should be. It is a fun toy that the kids enjoy, but not for retail pricing of $50. If you pay retail pricing for the playcenter and then get the doll ($35) you are paying as much as you would for dolls that are more interactive. And that is just too much for a 4 yr old.
Low points in my opinion: The playcenter is connected by plastic hinges. The animals on top, the slide and the highchair are constantly falling off. In fact I have given up on the slide and the highchair they lay around the kids room now, not even attached. The doll slides down the slide only when helped. Sometimes the center doesn't stay up. I have had to pull the toilet paper back out more than a couple of times with tweezers because the kids have pulled too hard and it has zipped way up.
High points in my opinion: There is storage space for all the little pieces that come with the doll and the center on the activity center. The dry erase board cleans up without water or sprays. When the slide, highchair or animals detach it doesn't take alot of effort to snap them back on. My kids really seem to enjoy it.
Bottom line---I nearly gave this toy a 4 star rating because my girls enjoy it so much, but at the retail price that I have seen it at I lowered my opinion. It's a great toy if you don't pay over $20 for it.

You really need the center to play with the doll unless you have other interactive pieces at home. The food for the doll comes with the center as well as the rooms that make it toddler aged...my daughter wanted it for the potty training area but when she got it, she realized the doll didnt undress to actually train her.

It is a must buy if you get the doll; just try to buy on sale. I don't like it because it is hard to store. It is prettly flimsy to break down with every use. You will need somekind of container for the pieces or they are easily lost.

This toy came down to just $10 in the post Christmas sales last year...for that it is worth it, but I paid almost full price when this first came out and oh, what a waste!
My little one liked it...but the quality was simply awful! It's cheap plastic that has the tendancy to pop apart frequently! The slide falls off, the doors stopped worked at once and would not remain shut! The high chair falls to pieces regularly and is very difficult to get a toy in and out of. The little deocrative pieces also refuse to stay on.
Its cute for a little girl to play with and imagine they are a mommy...but once you have used the slide, fed baby and put baby on a potty -there is little room for additional activity. Thank goodness for the power of imagination as my little girl used this as a fort and hideaway more than the actual intended use! She struggled to use this without help as all the pieces would fall off mid play requiring an adult or older sibling to jump in and reassemble!
This could have been a lot better quality - but it is this aspect that lets this down the most!

Daughter review-
I thought it was going to be pretty much fun. But, without the doll for it, it wasnt really fun at all. I would say if you buy this toy you should buy the doll with it. I like the sounds that it makes, the sounds when you flush the toilet. It comes with a blanket and pillow and fake food. But it doesnt come with the doll. :(

My daughter likes the slide that keeps falling off, the storage compartment, and the high chair which is difficult for a 2 year old to put the doll in. Of course she loves the blanket and pillow. Other than that it's very cheaply made and is not worth the money. The pictures are cardboard inserts, that I laminated for extra stability, they have not fallen out. It's hard to keep the highchair clipped to the side, so dolly falls over frequently. I immediately took away the dry erase marker, or it would have been everywhere. A magnetic board would have been better.. The potty is cute with handsoap that squirts down and toilet paper you can pull out a bit. We are potty training, so this is a bit useful. The potty makes a flushing sound. There are two large buttons that count and say abc's. The three animals on the top are pointless, they just keep falling off.. Also it has a phone the rings, and a pretend clock. My daughter does like it, so it gets 2 stars for that, but it won't last six months. Don't waste your money!! I just noted the clearance price. If you pay under $[...] than it's not a bad toy. Santa unfortunately paid nearly fifty for it after using a ten dollar coupon. Santa was ripped off!!

I purchased the toddler play all day toy from Amazon for my two twin daughters who are 3 years of age. The item had some assembly required-it wasn't to difficult to put together during the holiday crunch. I did have some disappointment with the quality. The slide doesn't stay on the piece as well as the other parts that attach do. The cardboard elements were very weak comparatively and therefore were easy to bend in the installation and it would have been nice if they were covered with a protective material since one of the items in the piece is a dry erase marker and of course it was used to color the pictures. Other than that, the girls have enjoyed having the little extra for their toddler doll to play with. Not a bad piece for its purpose.

might be okay for a calm and careful 7 or 8 year old. My 5 yr. old tore it apart in a minute or less. Comes back apart very easy

My daughter enjoys playing with this and her Little Mommy Toddler doll, but the slide keeps falling off and the entire set will fall over pretty easily. Still, it's a pretty decent toy
