For a movie I'd never heard of, this soundtrack really surprised me. The CD has no liner notes to speak of, and the songwriting credits are difficult to find -- yet the music is enchanting and extremely well-performed. The instrumental score is performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Disney music fans will be interested to know that the songs were all written by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman (Mary Poppins, "it's a small world," etc.). While this is not a Disney project, it sounds like it could be... (It is based on the early-20th-century comic strip "Little Nemo," and has nothing to do with the fish of the similar name.)

Melissa Manchester sings three of the songs on the soundtrack: "Little Nemo," "Slumberland," and part of the "Finale Medley." (She does not perform "Etiquette," as is noted in Amazon's listing.) She is at her absolute best here, and fans of hers will not be disappointed in these songs.

While it's not the greatest movie soundtrack in history, it is well worth seeking out. For fans of the Sherman Brothers or Melissa Manchester, it is a must for your collection.

This soundtrack is one that will never leave my side. The movie it came from taught me the joys and hopes of innocence and dreaming, and this soundtrack constantly reminds me of it. My only regret is that it will be passed over as childish and silly, so I write to those people: do not overlook little nemo. watch it, just once, and remember what it was to dream.

The soundtrack for this anime is of superb and unrivaled quality for its time. It is captivating, sweet, and something children would love for its soothing but bouyant melodies. Adults would also enjoy it for its rich use of lyrical and orchestra combination. I would say every family should a Little Nemo soundtrack, if it was still being made anymore.

As a little boy I loved this film!:) It is a MUST for a child, adult or adult that is a child at HEART!:) Today, at nineteen years-of age, I am still loving this film!:) I have come to relize that the music is very SUFISTACATED for a film of this GEROUNRA!:) If you where not educated on the fact that this is a childrens film, you would think with-out-a doubt that this is music COMPOSED and CONDUCTED by the Legend of MOTSART himself!:)

This album is great it brings back memories of when rossler, mike, joey, and me were all playing in the streets cops and robbers and they were all survivors and they werent hypocrites but now there all stupid morons who killed themselves by not surviving and losing their virginity. this album plays good music and i feel like i am in slumberland and i feel like i am 7 years old again. but now everything is bad because everyone is changing into monsters what ever happend to the good old days. Id advise anyone in getting this album and the movie cuz there great. this item will probably end up staying 5 stars because i am the only one who will fill in for this review and im probably the only one who knows about it.
