After years of odd jobs, which most notably included stints as the stunt double for Fantasy Island star Hervé Villechaize and The Hulk's Lou Ferrigno, Chuy Bravo has settled into what he hopes is a lifelong position as the assistant to Chelsea Handler. In his spare time, he moonlights as an actor and can be seen in The Rundown and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Chuy is single, has no children (whom he publicly acknowledges), lives in the prestigious San Fernando Valley, and drives a Toyota Corolla. Watch out, ladies!

Tom Brunelle is writer and executive producer of Chelsea Lately.

I must say that Chuy is hilarious on Chelsea Lately. He makes his smart little comments and has a lot of good advice. This book starts off with a tiny introduction of his life such as, his chilhood, being on a soccer team, and working with Chelsea. The rest of the book is like a small page and 10 tips Chuy gives for that specific thing (politics, relationships, food, etc.) Although he includes a tip with some funny commentary afterwards, it was very short. It took me fifteen minutes to read. I wish he went more into his life and gave a longer description of the advice he has on these particular issues.

I was really excited when I purchased this book because I have read all of Chelsea's books. I opened up the book to see pages with 1 to 3 sentences on them. All of the writing seemed like it was not written by Chuy. It did not seem to fit his personality. And I personally didn't find any of the "jokes" to be funny. Don't waste your $13.99 or 30 minutes on this book (yes, it only took a half hour to read the whole book!).

Parts of this book are funny. Thats not my major problem with the book. My issue with this book is that it consists of one sentence per page. The entire book can be read in the span of about 30 minutes. I find it insulting that a publisher would ask for 14 dollars of my hard-earned money for such a thin book. If you cant spend the time that it takes to actually sit down and write a full length book, then dont sell your product at the same price as people who do spend that time. Pathetic.

I was extremely disappointed with this book but kept reading it in the hopes it would be funny...to no avail.
