Absolutely Magical!Winsome Story & Illustrations to Match,
By A Customer
This review is from: Little Oh (Hardcover)
The first time my daughter and I read "Little Oh" I knew we would need a copy of it in her personal library. Little Oh rates right up there with Mulan when it comes to stories for little girls.

magic magic magic!,
This review is from: Little Oh (Hardcover)
My 28-month-old daughter adores this book, which we recently stumbled upon at our library. In contrast to some text-heavy picture books, she listens, enthralled, to every word of Little Oh. Just yesterday, we made our own Little Oh doll, and combined it with the beautiful Folkmanis Crane puppet we already own to tell our own adventure. Her favorite illustration is the one of Little Oh about to plummet over the waterfall in her teacup.
Easily on my list of best picture books ever!

Both of my boys enjoy reading this book over and over again. They are 9 and 6 years old. I like exposing them to different cultures through books and this is a beautiful story with enough text to keep my older son interested. I think it is a book which both girls and boys will enjoy.

Little Oh is an exquisite book: beautifully written, even more beautifully illustrated. Like the best children books, it appeals to different levels so adults can read it over and over on request and not find it tedious (indeed the ending remains powerful every time). It is not for toddlers but for kids who can handle and follow a longer story -- and I note that my sons like it as much as my daughter does.

I just read this story to my soon to be five year-old daughter. We borrowed from our local library. She loved it and I loved it. We are going to add this book to our personal library.

Nicely illustrated story for kids aged 5 and up.,

I read this to my 3 1/2 year old and the story was a bit lengthy and above her head. The illustrations are nicely done and the story's premise is quaint. A paper doll named Little Oh gets lost and tries to find her mother - the woman who created her. I'd recommend it for kids closer to five years of age and up with a longer attention span and ability to focus on a longer plot than the typical picture book.
